Too Much Excitement

The level of excitement surrounding this years Reading Festival in the UK is literally palpable. If you have tried to get a ticket for this years festival, you will understand exactly what is going on. The Reading Festival 2009 tickets sold out in just 48 hours after their initial release - possibly the most measurable factor of the success of this years event. This must have been extremely pleasing to the organizers, who each year put a huge amount of effort in to creating an event worthy of such a high level of participation and publicity.

However, people buying the tickets may not have been too pleased. In fact, it seems that Seat Wave - the ticket retailer for the festival, will be flooded with people again when the second lot of tickets go on sale later in the year. This is all because ticket sales are no longer being made at the entrance to the event, hence - it is now imperative that people purchase tickets before showing up to the event. Apparently, this is the way it’s going to be every year from now on, so it’s best to get used to the ticketing process as soon as possible.
