Lighting Options For Your Boxster

Having been an owner of a 2001 Porsche Boxster for the past 8 years, I’ve decided to give it a bit of an upgrade. Luckily, the overall shape of the Boxster itself hasn’t changed much at all since it’s release, the main difference being the lights. For those who don’t know what I am referring to. Porsche opted to swap their awful orange indicators for clear ones on their 2003 model which instantly made all Boxsters released before that date extremely dated! Luckily however, all is not lost as you can quite easily buy Porsche lighting from either Porsche directly or from a third party manufacturer at a relatively low cost these days. You may also be lucky enough to find some clear lights second hand. You can try speaking to the mechanics at Porsche direct who on occasion just happen to know someone with a spare set of lights going! Of course, the lighting isn’t the only thing you need to change if you want to make your Porsche a lot newer than it is. The exhaust also changed on the newer models but Porsche exhausts and new model Porsche accessories are relatively easy to come by these days also.
